A moist and flavorful strawberry pound cake that tastes just like a classic milkshake.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pureed strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and pureed strawberries.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of strawberry extract.
  • Serve with whipped cream and fresh strawberries on top.
