Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whip the cream cheese until smooth, then fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Form the dough into small balls and fill them with the cream cheese and strawberry mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
