- 8 ounces smoked trout, skin removed and flaked
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained and chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked trout, cream cheese, and butter.
- Add the lemon juice, capers, dill, and Dijon mustard. Mix until well blended.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers or toasted bread.
