- 4 pounds beef cheeks
- 1 cup your favorite barbecue rub
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F.
- Trim excess fat from the beef cheeks and apply the barbecue rub.
- Place beef cheeks in the smoker and cook for approximately 6 hours.
- Wrap in foil and cook for an additional 2 hours.
- Remove from foil, cut into chunks, and toss in barbecue sauce.
- Return to the smoker for another hour.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Let the burnt ends rest for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Adjust the barbecue sauce amount to taste.
