- 2 cans sardines, drained
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine sardines, egg yolks, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion, garlic, mustard, and black pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain.
- Serve warm with your choice of sauce or garnish.

- For a gluten-free version, substitute breadcrumbs with a gluten-free alternative.
