Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cauliflower rice (approximately 1 medium cauliflower head)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
- Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir the mixture thoroughly until everything is evenly blended.
- Spoon the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread it out into a rectangle shape, ensuring it’s about 1/2 inch thick.
- Using a brush, lightly coat the top of the cauliflower mixture with olive oil for added flavor and crispiness.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges turn a lovely golden brown and the center feels firm to the touch.
- Once baked, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Cut into strips or sticks for serving.
- If you like, garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs to add a touch of elegance.
Notes
- For an extra cheesy flavor, consider mixing in 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Pair these sticks with marinara sauce for a delightful dipping experience.
