- 1/2 cup water

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Soak red lentils in water for at least an hour.
- Drain and blend with remaining water until smooth.
- Add turmeric, cumin, and salt to the lentil mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Pour batter onto skillet to form pancakes.
- Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Garnish with onion, jalapeño, and cilantro before serving.

- For extra flavor, add spices of your choice.
- Serve with yogurt or a sauce of your liking.
