- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Once risen, roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the raspberry jam over it.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Cover and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the bread cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- This loaf is great toasted with butter.
