- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Spread raspberries evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the raspberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the custard is set and slightly golden on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or chilled, topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
- Substitute other berries if desired.
