  • 6 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Arrange torn croissants in the baking dish and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture over the croissants and let it sit for 20 minutes.
