  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a food processor, blend pistachios until finely ground.
  4. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in vanilla and ground pistachios.
  7. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  8. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream.
  9. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool before serving.
