Deliciously crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this Panko-Crusted Baked Salmon is a flavorful and healthy meal option.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread Dijon mustard over each fillet.
  5. Press the panko mixture onto the salmon to form a crust.
  6. Drizzle olive oil on top of the crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and crust is golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in lemon juice for 30 minutes before coating.
