Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift together the almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add the granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites until combined.
- Pipe the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons dry for about 30 minutes or until a skin forms.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool completely.
- For the filling, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fill half of the macarons with the cream and sandwich with the other half.
- Let the assembled macarons rest for a few hours before serving.
