- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together olive oil, sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top of the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For a denser brownie, add an extra egg.
- These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
