- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 package (3 oz) lime gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and stir.
- Pour the lime gelatin mixture into the cream cheese mixture and fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with whipped topping and festive decorations.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling.
- Allow enough time for the cheesecake to set in the refrigerator before serving.
