This moist and delicious banana bread is the perfect way to use overripe bananas.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 75 g melted butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 190 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Melt the butter and mix it with the bananas.
  4. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
