Delicious and healthy Matcha bites inspired by my Japanese grandmother’s secret recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, powdered sugar, and matcha powder.
  3. Add melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. If using, gently fold in dark chocolate chips.
  5. Shape the mixture into small bites and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • These Matcha bites can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite nuts or dried fruits.
