Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a stronger matcha flavor, increase the matcha powder to 3 tablespoons.
- Store the cake in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
