- 6 lemons, juiced and zested
- 1 cup fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cups chili peppers, finely chopped
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 package pectin
Instructions
- Combine lemon juice, lemon zest, ginger, chili peppers, and water in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil, then add sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Stir in pectin and boil for the recommended time according to pectin instructions.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a milder version, reduce the amount of chili peppers.
- This jam pairs well with cheese boards.
- Serve over grilled meats for added flavor.
