Ingredients

  • 4 lemons, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, flour, and salt.
  3. Add the egg yolks and milk, and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg whites into the lemon mixture.
  6. Pour into a greased baking dish and place in a larger pan filled with water.
  7. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  8. Let cool before serving.
