- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup peach jam
- 1/4 cup peach flavored liqueur (optional)
- food coloring (yellow and red for coloring)
- granulated sugar (for rolling)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the baking powder and flour, mixing until combined.
- Form the dough into small balls and place them on baking sheets.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball and fill with peach jam.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool and then roll in granulated sugar and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- For a richer peach flavor, use peach flavored liqueur in the dough.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
