Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  2. Add glutinous rice flour, sugar, salt, and water. Mix until combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a microwave-safe dish and cover with plastic wrap.
  4. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for an additional 1-2 minutes until the mochi is sticky and cooked through.
  5. Allow to cool slightly, then sprinkle a clean surface with cornstarch.
  6. Dust your hands with cornstarch and shape the mochi into small balls.
  7. Let the mochi rest for a few minutes, dusting with more cornstarch as needed.
