Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina and salt.
- Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each into a disc about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the arepas for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Let the arepas cool slightly, then slice them open and fill with your choice of fillings.

- Arepas can be filled with cheese, meats, avocado, or any other preferred ingredients.
- Adjust the salt and add seasonings to enhance flavor.
