Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup hot honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out to about 1 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with hot honey before serving.
