- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- yellow food coloring, to taste
- white food coloring, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Divide mixture in half; color half with yellow food coloring for the yolk.
- Shape both mixtures into egg shapes and chill until firm.
- Melt milk chocolate chips with coconut oil in a double boiler.
- Dip chilled eggs in chocolate and set on wax paper to harden.
- Once hardened, use remaining melted chocolate to create decorative lines if desired.
