- 1 cup raw almonds
- 4 cups water (for blending)
- 1 tablespoon probiotic powder or 1 capsule
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the almonds in water overnight.
- Drain and rinse the almonds, then blend them with 4 cups of water until smooth.
- Strain the almond milk using a nut milk bag or cheesecloth.
- Return the almond milk to the blender, add the probiotic, and blend to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a clean jar and cover loosely.
- Let it ferment at room temperature for 24-48 hours until thickened.
- Once ready, refrigerate and enjoy your homemade yogurt!
Notes
- For a thicker yogurt, use less water when blending.
- Keep the yogurt in the fridge for up to a week.
