This homemade almond milk yogurt is creamy, delicious, and perfect for a dairy-free diet.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 4 cups water (for blending)
  • 1 tablespoon probiotic powder or 1 capsule
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds in water overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the almonds, then blend them with 4 cups of water until smooth.
  3. Strain the almond milk using a nut milk bag or cheesecloth.
  4. Return the almond milk to the blender, add the probiotic, and blend to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a clean jar and cover loosely.
  6. Let it ferment at room temperature for 24-48 hours until thickened.
  7. Once ready, refrigerate and enjoy your homemade yogurt!

Notes

  • For a thicker yogurt, use less water when blending.
