Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the chopped strawberries, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Gradually add in the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet.
- Smooth the tops and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- For a stronger strawberry flavor, consider adding a few drops of strawberry extract.
