- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a cheesecake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in matcha powder and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger green tea flavor, adjust the amount of matcha as desired.
- Serve with whipped cream for additional richness.
