A light and creamy cheesecake infused with the delicate flavor of green tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a cheesecake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in matcha powder and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger green tea flavor, adjust the amount of matcha as desired.
  • Serve with whipped cream for additional richness.
