- 6 large eggs
- 1 pound sausage meat
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil the eggs for 6-7 minutes, then cool in ice water.
- Peel the eggs and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix sausage meat with salt and pepper.
- Wrap each egg with sausage meat completely.
- Coat each sausage-wrapped egg in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry the eggs until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the sausage mixture.
- Serve with mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
