- 8 ounces Swiss mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the parsley and remove from heat.
- Meanwhile, toast the bread slices and spread with butter.
- Top the toasted bread with the mushroom mixture and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt and pepper to the mushrooms.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
