A delicious and hearty dish combining four types of cheese and sausage with rigatoni pasta.

  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, goat cheese, eggs, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, and seasoning.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni and sausage to the cheese mixture; stir to combine.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and pour marinara sauce over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the sausage.
