  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly whisk in the milk, cooking until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and blue cheese until melted.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce, mixing well.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
