- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (for topping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix bread flour, all-purpose flour, salt, yeast, and sugar.
- Add warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a covered bowl for 1 hour.
- Prepare the topping by mixing rice flour, sesame oil, water, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Punch down the dough and shape into a loaf. Place on a baking sheet.
- Spread the prepared topping evenly over the dough.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try adding herbs or spices to the dough.
- Ensure the water is warm but not hot to avoid killing the yeast.
