- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, and salt until a dough forms.
- Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Spread salted caramel sauce over the dough layer.
- Crumble the remaining dough on top of the caramel.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before drizzling with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
