Ingredients

- 1 cup red lentils
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Rinse the red lentils under cold water and drain.
- In a pot, combine the red lentils and water, then bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the lentils are soft.
- Drain any excess water and let cool slightly.
- Add the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil, and black pepper to the lentils and blend until smooth.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spoon the lentil mixture onto the baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, then remove and let cool before breaking into crackers.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These crackers are great with dips or on their own.
