Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries and water. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries pop.
- Stir in the orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in a little cold water, then stir it into the cranberry mixture.
- Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour into a square dish. Allow to cool completely.
- Once set, cut into bite-sized pieces and dust with additional sugar, if desired.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- These can be served as a snack or used as a topping for desserts.
