Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Beat in the egg and milk gradually.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped dates.

  8. Cut into rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.
