Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased cheesecake pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
- Spread the whipped cream mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
