A delightful dessert that combines the flavors of cherries and amaretto with classic tiramisu elements.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled espresso
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup pitted cherries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chilled espresso and amaretto.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Dip ladyfinger cookies in the espresso mixture and layer them in a dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add a layer of sliced cherries on top.
  6. Repeat the layers, ending with the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, let the tiramisu sit overnight.
  • Garnish with additional cherries before serving.
