Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, and heat until caramelized.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Once the sugar mixture is caramelized, slowly add the milk mixture and stir well.
  4. Cook on low heat until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a bit of cream to the milk mixture.
