A delicious Banoffee Condensed Milk Tart recipe that combines the flavors of bananas, caramel, and whipped cream on a graham cracker crust.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly, for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens and turns a caramel color. Pour the caramelized condensed milk into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  3. Once the caramel layer is set, arrange the sliced bananas evenly over the top of the tart.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the bananas, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a nutty flavor, substitute half of the graham cracker crumbs with finely chopped pecans or walnuts.
  • Add a layer of sliced strawberries or a drizzle of caramel sauce on top of the whipped cream for extra flavor and visual appeal.
